For medical schemes, insurers and hospital groups
A new benefit for your members, administered by us.
Patient Cover is designed and administered by nownow. You distribute it. We carry product, claims, assessment and the member journey.
This is a summary only. The policy wording governs. Patient Cover is not a medical scheme, and it is not a substitute for medical scheme membership.
Model it

A monthly figure, not a quotation
Premium: R190 per member per month, VAT inclusive. The same rate for every enrolled member. Change the number to see the monthly premium.

R165,220
Commission, up to 12.5% of premium excluding VAT
Up to R20,652.50
Up to, not a promised commission. This is not a quotation. A quote also needs age mix, admissions, procedures, deliveries and facility mix.

Three ways to participate
Embedded, an add-on, or on your licence.
Commission can be up to 12.5% of premium, excluding VAT. In nownow research, respondents said they would pay R261 to R277 a month. There is no waiting period at scheme inception. New joiners wait 30 days. Emergencies are exempt.
- The partner sends one monthly membership file.
- Premium is invoiced and paid in arrears, within 7 business days.
- nownow runs eligibility, communications, claims, assessment and reporting.
Tell us about the cohort.
A quote needs covered lives, age mix, admissions, procedures, deliveries and facility mix. Share what you have. We will ask for the rest.
