Privacy notice
This notice covers the nownow website and the information you give us through it.
Who is responsible
Medmal Plus (Pty) Ltd trading as nownow, registration number 2019/494004/07. Evander Obi is nownow's Information Officer under the Protection of Personal Information Act. Email hello@nownow.insure. nownow is registered with the Information Regulator.
What this website collects
If you use an enquiry form, we receive the fields you type: your name, email, message, and any organisation, role, phone, topic or model you add. We use them to reply, and to consider a partnership if that is what you asked about. If you leave your email to be kept posted, we use it only to tell you when Patient Cover is available to you directly. We do not use this website for analytics, advertising cookies, or a marketing list.
The form is not an application for cover. Taking out Patient Cover involves separate consents in the policy documents: records, assessment, POPIA, and optional marketing.
Where an enquiry goes
Enquiries are addressed to hello@nownow.insure. Our email provider may process them outside South Africa.
Product systems, not this website
Product operations may transfer personal information to operators in the United States, including Supabase, Railway, Clerk, and Twilio or SendGrid. Those systems are not used to run this website.
Your rights
You may ask for access to personal information we hold, ask for a correction, object to processing, or complain to the Information Regulator. Write to the Information Officer at hello@nownow.insure.
